Meeting Group S.p.A. has always operated with a steadfast commitment to the principles and values of social responsibility and business ethics, with a growing focus on the impact of its activities on society and the local community. <\/span><\/p>

Indeed, Meeting Group S.p.A. considers human and social values as fundamental elements to ensure safe, adequate, and optimal working conditions for all its employees, both internal and external to the company. We are dedicated to providing fair treatment free from discrimination and upholding human rights and fundamental freedoms.<\/p>

This commitment has driven our company to increasingly prioritize Ethical and Social Sustainability, to the extent that we have embarked on the virtuous path of implementing a Social Responsibility Management System based on the requirements outlined in the international standard SA 8000 (Social Accountability)<\/a><\/p>

Meeting Group S.p.A. aims to share its dedication to this cause with its stakeholders by promoting the development of a socially responsible work environment that has no negative impact on the external society and community while fostering the professional growth of all internal resources, in accordance with national and international laws and human rights. <\/span><\/p>

For these reasons, the company, in relation to the outcomes resulting from the application of the Standard, strives to:<\/p>

\u25cf Ensure that all stakeholders are aware of the company’s Social Responsibility policy;<\/p>

\u25cf Promote the understanding of the company’s actual commitments among all stakeholders based on the requirements of the SA8000 Standard; <\/span><\/p>

\u25cf Highlight the company’s commitment to ensuring the continuous improvement of the Social Responsibility Management System, taking into account feedback, suggestions, considerations, and input from all internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>

Based on the SA8000:2014 Standard, the Management of Meeting Group S.p.A. guarantees compliance with the following requirements:<\/p>

\u25cf The prohibition of child\/adolescent labor and respect for the rights of young workers;<\/p>

\u25cf The complete elimination of any form of forced or compulsory labor that may restrict and harm individuals’ rights and freedoms;<\/p>

\u25cf The implementation of well-defined and structured practices related to health and safety in the workplace;<\/p>

\u25cf Respect for the freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining;<\/p>

\u25cf The rejection of any form of discrimination in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination of employment, or retirement based on race, national, territorial or social origin, caste, birth, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, family responsibilities, marital status, union membership, political opinions, or age;<\/p>

\u25cf The abolition and non-use of any incorrect and illegal disciplinary practices;<\/p>

\u25cf Compliance with working hours appropriate to the tasks performed and in line with the contractual conditions stipulated with employees and national reference laws;<\/p>

\u25cf Ensuring fair compensation in line with the sector’s contractual conditions.<\/p>

The responsibility for verifying the conformity and effectiveness of the implemented Management System with respect to the reference standard lies with the Management and the Social Performance Team, a vital body composed of both employee representatives and members of the management.<\/p>

Meeting Group S.p.A. guarantees all its stakeholders the opportunity to communicate observations, reports, or suggestions regarding the SA8000 Standard on Corporate Social Responsibility.
Each communication can be sent to the Company by completing the form available at the link below, either anonymously or with a signature.
All reports are recorded, analyzed, and managed based on their content by the company\u2019s Social Performance Team (SPT), involving other internal functions when necessary.
The SPT is composed equally of representatives from Management and the workforce.
For signed reports, Company Management will provide direct feedback to the individual concerned.
If the analysis reveals the need for action, appropriate corrective measures may be implemented.
